Corbin was rescued by HEART Ohio in 2020 after being placed on the euthanasia list at his previous shelter. Corbin was thought to have extensive heart problems and was not deemed preferable for adoption by his previous shelter. We provided Corbin's necessary veterinary care and determined his previously identified health problems were a fluke. Corbin was a foster fail and adopted by his foster parent. He lives a quiet life and will be spoiled with love for this rest of his days.
Most of Crew's life was spent in a crate on the front porch of his previous owner's home. HEART Ohio obtained Crew through owner surrender. HEART Ohio was able to provide all of Crew's necessary medical care, much of which was essential and he never received. He is a spunky and silly boy. He loves to go shopping and spin in circles.
Mocha was rescued by HEART Ohio after being put on the euthanasia list for shelter overcrowding. Mocha loves playing with other dogs and was adopted by a family with other dogs and children. She is having a blast with her new life.
Piper was the most severe medical case and the longest resident of HEART Ohio. Piper was being given away for free on Facebook Marketplace and the owner eventually agreed to surrender her to the rescue. Upon surrender she was heart-worm positive, had an unidentifiable skin condition, was unvaccinated, had an ear infection, and was malnourished. Through 9 months of rehabilitation with specialist veterinarians, a loving foster home, and care from rescue supporters, Piper made a full recovery. She was adopted by a family who spoils her and takes her on walks.
